Instructor Jeeson, a passionate martial arts trainer based in New Zealand, has been practicing Kalaripayattu since 2009. He did the practice under Sri I. Nazer Gurukkal (Master), Jaihind Kalari Sangam, Athirampuzha. Jeeson is dedicated to sharing the knowledge and wisdom of this ancient martial art with others. Besides being a martial arts trainer, Jeeson is also a Digital marketer based in New Zealand.

AGNI Martial Arts offers a comprehensive Adimurai Kalari syllabus that covers all aspects of this ancient martial art. Our syllabus is designed to provide our students with a deep understanding of Southern Kalaripayattu and its various techniques.
Chuvadu Murai is the foundation of Kalaripayattu. It focuses on developing balance, coordination, and flexibility through the practice of various steps and footwork techniques. This method also includes evasion techniques (Ozhivu Murai) and body flexibility methods (maivazhakkam).
Ati Murai is the offensive component of Southern Kalaripayattu. It teaches students how to defend themselves using barehanded fighting techniques (Verum Kai). This method includes 64 techniques that cover a wide range of strikes, blocks, and takedowns.
Aayuda Murai teaches students how to use various weapons in combat. This method includes training in the use of Cheruvadi (small stick), Neduvadi (long stick), Kathi (knife), or kattari (dagger), Val (sword), Vettukathi (machete), Parasha (kanda kodali/Axe), and Kuntham (Spear).
Marma Prayoga is the most advanced aspect of Kalaripayattu. It teaches students how to strike at marmas (vital points) to incapacitate or even neutralize an opponent. There are 108 pressure points in the human body, and Marma Prayoga teaches students how to target these points with precision.
Ilakku Murai is the technique used to restore the normal health of the person who is injured by a marma attack. Thattu murai and thadavu murai are two healing methods related to ilakku murai.
